INS-0805 impulse tester delivers full overvoltage test capability for electricity meters and measurement relays mounted in the power distribution grid. High accuracy internal or external measurement systems, can be programmed to detect breakdown with pass/fail criteria based on voltage and current impulse integral. Combined with direct interface to a DSO, INS overvoltage test systems are a powerful resource in the test environment without need of a computer. Personnel safety ensured through an emergency stop, warning lamp and test cabinet, disabling high voltage circuits when activated.
